21. You’re free if you’re rejected

People are so preoccupied with their own lives, challenges and relationships that your story will never play the leading role in their story.

Even if you are seen by someone for a short time: Acceptance or rejection is measured by each person’s own freedoms, what they believe is good or bad, right or wrong.

If you don’t care about this opinion, you have reached a dangerously high level of freedom. Your freedom is measured by your courage to be rejected by others.

To be rejected is prove that you do not put on the brakes at foreign borders; that your self-expression is not regulated by ghosts outside of you.

Those who think of you will nod or shake their heads. Your freedom basically doesn’t give a fuck when you know that soon nobody will think about you again.
